It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Gail Margaret McMath on Wednesday February 13th, 2019 at the Toronto General Hospital in her 60th year. Beloved daughter of Lillian McMath (nee Konecny and the late Lorne (Pat) 2014). Dear sister of Deborah McMath of Chatham, and Darrell and his wife Debbie of Southampton. She will be lovingly remembered by her niece Courtney St. John and her husband Michael Beecroft, and her nephew Jeff Maxwell and his partner Rudilynn Camarillo. She will be missed by her Aunt and Godmother Frances Kacer. Gail worked for Bell Canada for over 30 plus years. Gail was loved by all who knew her-especially for her beautiful smile, and she will be missed. A private funeral service will be held at funeral home with Deacon Steve Cartier officiating. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life gathering on Saturday March 2nd, 2019 visiting from 1 to 4 pm at Smitty’s-Aristo’s Banquet Room, 307 Grand Ave. West, Chatham. Arrangements entrusted to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710. Interment St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham. In lieu of flowers, friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider Chatham Outreach for Hunger, Friends of the New Animal Shelter of Chatham-Kent, or charity of choice.
