Life Legacy
SANTESSO, Diane Linda – Passed away February 25, 2019 in Winnipeg, Canada. Diane was born February 13, 1975 in Niagara Falls. She was the beloved daughter of Lillian Santesso (nee Stephenson) and the late Mario Santesso (1995). She will always hold a special part of the hearts of her sisters Nancy Santesso, Susan Santesso and Sandra (Michael) Hollender and be remembered by her beautiful niece and nephew, Serafina and Alexander Hollender. She will be missed by her aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and in Italy. She was an accomplished researcher in the field of psychology and neuroscience, completing a BA and Masters at McMaster University, a PhD at Brock University, and a post-doctorate at McMaster University and Harvard University. She was Assistant Professor at University of Winnipeg at the time of her death. She was well-liked by her colleagues and students. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Sunday March 3, 2019 from 1 to 4 pm.
