It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecil Halfyard announce his passin on Thursday, February 28th,2019 at his family residence in his 80th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Edith ( nee Anstey ). His children Glenda ( Jack ) Carter, Frank ( Delores ) Halfyard, Rick ( Debbie ) Halfyard, Cathy ( Barry ) Hounsell, Tina ( Bill ) Thomas and Shelley Halfyard. Grandchildren, Tracy Major, Terry Carter,Monica Rideout, Megan Roberts, Ricky Halfyard, Sheldon Vickers, Mark Halfyard, Micheal Halfyard , Kendra Nichols and Tiffany Ryan. 11 great-grandchildren. His brother Wilfred ( Linda ) Halfyard. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Cecil was predeceased by his parents Maude & Stanley Halfyard,parents- in-law Walter & Rachel Anstey, sisters Marie Young, Cora Rowsell and Jessie Baker and brother Noel Halfyard. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake on Friday, March 1st,2019 at 7-9pm. Saturday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2:00pm.from St. Pauls United Church in Deer Lake with Rev.
