May 28th, 1947 – January 8th, 2019
Bill passed away peacefully at Lennox & Addington Hospital after a long battle with heart disease.
Loving father of Kimberly Drury & her husband David. He was loved by all and will be missed by many family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents William John Wilson Sr. & Dorothy Lyla Braybrook. Billy was born with hockey in his blood. He was a talented Jr. A player and was drafted to the New York Rangers from the Kitchener Rangers in the 1960’s. After playing in the NHL, he came back to Canada to play for the Scarborough Major Hockey League and to care for his baby girl. He enjoyed spending his time riding his Harley and cruising in one of his many classic cars. As per Bill’s wishes, he wanted everyone to gather and celebrate his life with a party. A celebration will be held at the WEAVER Life Centre, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Sunday, January 13th, 2019 from 2 – 5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lennox & Addington General Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.weaverfuneralhomes.com
