Tina Albertina Bos January 26th 2019

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Tina (Albertina) Bos; Beloved Mother, Oma, and great Omi. Survived by her 3 children; Hans (Ingrid), Ron (Colleen), and her daughter, Liz (Larry); Grandchildren Desiree (Steve), Blake (Catriona), Gabrielle (Bryan), Mieka, Scott, and Anika; Great grandchildren Koen, Jackson, Everett, and Eliana.
Tina was born in Westzaan, Netherlands. She immigrated to Canada in 1958 with her husband, Joe, and their two young sons. Becoming homesick, they moved back to Muiderberg, Holland where Tina’s third child was born. With an adventurous spirit, she and Joe moved their young family back to BC in 1963 where they settled in the Fleetwood area.
Tina spent the majority of her working years with Burnaby Lake Greenhouses where she was known as the “Violet Lady”. In retirement, Tina volunteered for Surrey Memorial Hospital knitting baby hats for the maternity ward (hat lady).
Her many friends and family know her as a very “special” lady, full of life and love, humour, and the best stories!
We wish to invite all whose lives she touched to join us in celebration of her life
