Shelley’s Obituary
It is with broken hearts and great sadness. We say goodbye to Shelley Lee (Hutchings) Taylor. A beautiful and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, granddaughter, aunt, and friend. At the age of 42 years old. Shelley lost her fight to Cancer on Thursday, January 17th, 2019, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues.
Shelley was a strong, caring, no nonsense women & dedicated nurse who cherished family and lived and breathed for her two sons. For those who knew her, she could always be counted on to help and lend support in a time of need. Shelley will be forever missed and her memory always cherished.
Leaving to mourn are her husband; Brian Taylor, sons; Mitchell and Joshua Taylor, parents; Vivian & Garland Hutchings, brother; Chad (Cathy) & nieces; Emily & Natalie, brother; Darcy (Stephanie), nephew; Jonah, & niece; Alexis, grandparents; Hepsy & Alonzo Patey, mother & father-in-law; Barbara & Glenn Taylor, brother-in-law; Joe (Lesley), niece; Jacey, & nephew; Jordan.
Shelley was predeceased by her grandparents; Ada & Morris Hutchings, her nephew; Austin Taylor, and her aunt; Gaye Murrin.
We are forever thankful to all the staff at Bonne Bay Health Centre, but like to offer a special thank you to Allison Carpenter, Sue Ann Collett, Dr: Issacc, Jason Knott, Regina Payne, & Karen Hynes.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the St. Mary’s the Virgin Anglican Church in Cow Head, NL, on Sunday, January 20th, 2019, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and continuing on Monday, January 21st, 2019, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019, at 2:00 pm, with canon Terry Rose, officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Cow Head, NL.
