Obituary for Ronald “Ron” Gordon Totten
TOTTEN, Ronald “Ron” Gordon- After a long battle with Alzheimer, passed way peacefully on Friday, January 11th, 2019 at peopleCare Nursing Home, Tavistock, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Burrows). Loving father of Scott (Barb), Susan (Steve) Cole, Mark, and Paul. Proud grandpa of Holly (Nathan), Tyler, Jillian (Ben), Brittany, Emily, and Shelby (Brandon). Dear brother of Helen (Ray) Whetstone and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Enid (nee Chaffé) Totten. Ron was known as “Mr. Embro” due to his participation in so many organizations, committees, and events. He will be missed by all. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Friday, January 18th, 2019 from 10 to 12 pm, with the funeral service to follow in the chapel at 12:00 pm. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford, Knox United Church in Embro, Juvenile Diabetes Association or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
