September 11, 1922 — January 26, 2019
At the age of 96, Rita was a most cherished and deeply loved Mother to Monica and her husband, Anthony Cozzolino.
Rita was predeceased by her loving husband Clifford, who always lived on in her memory.
Proud Grandmother of her Grandsons, Daniel and Andrew. She treasured and infinitely loved them and she equally received their special love and bond. Grandma lived with them throughout their life and thus became her life.
In recent years, Rita met and became deeply attached to Robyn Dewar, Andrews long time soulmate.
She also loved and valued being ‘Grandma’ to GianLuca and Larissa Nalli and treasured each time she was with them.
Rita sorely loved her nieces Sharon and Patricia Hawkins and Rita will always live on in their memory.
In her 96 years, Rita touched many lives with her unrelenting strength, stamina and particularly her immeasurable faith.
We wish to extend our sincerest appreciation to each one of our friends who always included Mom to any gathering or event that was taking place. She always enjoyed herself and felt blessed to be included with such special people.
A special Thank You to Carol and Philip coming from P.E.I. Mom is smiling and thanking God for gift of their presence.
Deep, heartfelt gratitude to Father Pawel and Deacon Joe. Rita could not be blessed with a greater release into God’s hands.
Rita will be resting at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Wednesday from 6-9pm.
Her funeral mass in St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church (10295 Yonge Street) at 10am Thursday. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery
