Obituary for Rebecca Aquash
Rebecca Lynn ‘Becky’ Aquash, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the age of 41. Becky is the daughter of Jewel Arlene Aquash. Beloved wife of Harley Peters Jr.. Loving mother of Shaylee, Sabanna and Cole. Dear sister of Fallon Aquash and Aarron Riley. Granddaughter of Evelyn White, Roy Newakado and Vervena Aquash. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. Family night will be 7-9 on Saturday. Community night will be 7-9 PM on Sunday. The funeral will be celebrated at the Evangelistic Centre, 156 Dan Shab Road, Walpole Island, on Monday, January 28 at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
