Paul E. Burke
1940-2019
Paul E. Burke, 79, of Oak Bay, NB and
formerly of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Saint John Regional
Hospital on Friday, January 25, 2019. Born in Petitcodiac, he was the
son of the late Gerald Burke and Janet Bell.
Paul was the owner/operator of
Hillside Enterprises, as well as Hillside Tree Farm for many years.
When he was not working, he enjoyed Motocross, Four Wheeling,
Travelling and spending time with his family.
Paul will be sadly missed by his wife
of 58 years, Marilyn Burke (Cronk); sons, John Burke (Kim) of Barrie,
ON and Chris Burke (Janette) of Berry Mills, NB; grandchildren, Brian
Burke (Jessica), Janessa Brown (Colin) and Spencer Burke; great
grandson, Henry Burke; sisters, Heather Burke (Charlie) and Elizabeth
Burke; brother, David Burke (Donna); as well as several nieces,
nephews and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by one brother, Carl Burke.
A Sharing of Memories to celebrate and honor Paul’s
life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, from
5:00 to 7:00 pm.
In Paul’s memory, donations to the
Alzheimer’s Society of Southeast NB would be appreciated.
