Mary (Davidson) Cloney passed away on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at Lincourt Manor, St.Stephen, NB where she had been residing since 2010.
Mary was born on a farm in Tower Hill in 1923, daughter of the late Ethel and Alden Davidson. She moved to St. Stephen, NB and worked at the Milltown Cotton Mill until her marriage to James Cloney in 1952.
Mary lived a full life in the community as a member and participant in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the CWL, and the Meals on Wheels Program. Mary, with her husband Jim, travelled throughout the Maritimes, Western Canada, the Southern states, the Caribbean, England and France.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Jim in 2011 and her siblings, Beatrice Hannon, Regena Ames, and Phillip Davidson.
Mary is survived by her children, Ann MacPhail of Rothesay, NB., Michael Cloney of Winnipeg, MB., Brenda Haggerty and Brian Cloney, both of St. Stephen, NB. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at a later date.
