It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother, Lucy Conway of Renews, age 79 years; who passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home in the presence of her loving family on January 5, 2019.
Predeceased by her husband Peter Conway, infant son Gregory Conway, parents Denis and Elizabeth Dinn, sister Denise Carey, bothers in-law Michael Reddigan and William Trainor.
Leaving to mourn with grateful and precious memories her three devoted children, son Gerard (Diane), daughters Bernadette and Christine (Darryl Chidley), grandchildren Bradley (Amanda), Keisha (RJ), Christian, Brooklyn, Jeremy (Allison), Joshua, Andrew (Emily), great- grandchild Karson, brother Loyola (Ann) Dinn, sisters Ursula (Don) Kent, Fabian Trainor and DeSales Reddigan. Also, all extended members of the Dinn and Conway families; and all her close friends who she loved spending time with, either having a cup of tea or game of cards. Special thanks to all those who cared for Lucy throughout her illness, especially her family doctor Thomas McGarry, homecare supporter Diane Conway and the staff at St. Patrick’s nursing home 3 North.
Resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home in Fermeuse, with visitation Sunday January 6 2019 from 3-9pm. Monday, January 7, 2019 2-9pm. Funeral service will be held at Holy Apostles Church in Renews Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10am. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation can be made to the Holy Apostles Church and Grotto in Renews where Lucy served her lifetime with dedication and devotion.
