K. Lynne Vye
1952-2019
Karen LynneVye, of Renforth/St.
Andrews, NB passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Saint John
Regional Hospital as a result of complications brought on by severe
diabetes. Born in El Paso, Texas on June 17, 1952, she was the
daughter of the late Howard R. Vye and Natalie C. (Rollins)
Vye.
Lynne is survived by her brother,
William Vye (Barbara) Bedford, NS; sister, Carla Linton,
Saint John, NB; brother-in-law Sandy Linton of St. Andrews; aunts
Marjorie MacLellan, Dartmouth, NS and Elizabeth Coulter (Cameron),
Halifax, NS; niece Erika Vye (Steve Brimm); nephews Dustin Vye (Gina),
Andrew Maxwell (Allison), David Maxwell, Rory Linton (Tara) and Thomas
Linton (Ayla Chisholm); great nieces and nephews Savannah, Coulter,
Jago and Xander and her beloved cat, Annie. Lynne was
predeceased by her brother-in-law, Donald Maxwell.
Lynne attended Rothesay Regional
High School, Saint John Community College and worked for many years
with Revenue Canada before retiring to St. Andrews. Lynne’s
life revolved around family, friends and pets. She was warm
and kind with a generous, compassionate soul and truly kept Christmas
in her heart all the days of the year.
Arrangements have been entrusted
to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row,
Saint John (634-7424). Cremation has taken
place. A memorial service and interment in St. Andrews will be
announced at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Charlotte
County Dial-a-Ride or to the Charlotte County SPCA.
