Ivan Weldon Gilbert
Passed away suddenly at his home in Conception Bay South on Monday, January 21, 2019, Ivan Weldon Gilbert, age 78 years. Predeceased by his father Alexander, mother Mabel, three sisters Margaret, Ruby and Bertha. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife Myrtle (Smith), his three sons: Christopher (Lisa), Alexander (Cathy) and Bartholomew, four daughters: Claudette (Rodney), Tracey (Quentin), Kimberley, Ashley (Joshua), eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Loved and will be forever remembered by his family and a large circle of friends. Visitation will take place in Faith Pentecostal Church, 36 Foxtrap Access Road on Wednesday & Thursday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral service will take place from Faith Pentecostal Church, Foxtrap on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 2 pm. Interment in Faith Pentecostal Cemetery, Reader’s Hill Road, Long Pond.
