Ida M. Adams
1921 – 2019
Ida Mary Adams, wife of the late Walter E. Adams of the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home and formerly of Black River Bridge passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the age of 97.
Born in Eel River Bridge, NB on September 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George and Lucille (Robichaud) Sippley. She was a homemaker and attended St. Michael’s By the Sea.
She is survived by two daughters: Lola Maahs of Sault Ste. Marie, ON and Marina Carroll of Miramichi; three sons: Percy Adams (Theresa) of Black River Bridge, Jerry Adams (Karen) of Saint John and Fred Adams of Miramichi; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Walter E. Adams, sons: Oliver, Burns, Edward and Carl, granddaughter: Kathy, sisters: Alda, Louise, Madeline, Julia, Lucille and Vergein, brothers: Mathese, William, Nazier, Anthony and Oliver, daughters-in-law: Donna and Judy, sons-in-law: Ralph and Gary.
Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 1-3pm with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 3pm from Adams Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Fraser as Celebrant. Interment will be held in the Black River Community Cemetery later in the spring.
