Grace Eileen Moore 19262019

Grace Eileen Moore
1926-2019
Grace Eileen Moore, beloved wife of Aubrey Moore and
mother to Terry and Debbie passed away peacefully at Loch Lomond Villa
on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the age of 92. Grace was originally
from Oxford, Nova Scotia. She was a wonderful, loving, caring mother
and devoted supportive spouse to Aubrey. Their life together took them
to many Military postings; Barrie, Ont., Kingston, Ont., Soest
Germany, Oromocto, NB, Petawawa, Ont., Oakville, Ont., and finally to
Saint John, NB. Wherever their travels took them, they quickly sought
out a spiritual family and immediately got involved with church
ministries, whether it was helping to build a church, teach Sunday
School classes, or sing and play their guitars whenever and wherever
they were asked. Her faith was an important part of her life and
enabled her to see the best in people. She and Aubrey loved to play
their guitars and sing, they loved to travel in their immaculately
kept trailer. She loved to cook and her happy place was in the kitchen
where she could be heard singing some of her favourite
spirituals.
She is survived by her children Terry (Judy) of Saint
John; and Debbie (Glen) Wyatt, of Saskatoon; her 5 grandchildren
Geordan, Joshua, Benjamin, Aaron, Sarah, and her 7 great grandchildren
Ashton, Easton, Everly, Eli, Rosie, Jayden and Harlo.
The song “Love Me” by Collin Ray depicts
the love that mom and dad had for one another, even with the
Alzheimer’s that robbed her of her physical abilities and
emotions you would always see the two of them demonstrating this
wonderful, special bond they had.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Funeral
Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John
(634-7424). A celebration of life will be held at Loch Lomond Villa
Chapel and the First Wesleyan Church on Boars Head Rd., Saint John, on
a date to be announced later.
The
family want to thank the staff and volunteers of Loch Lomond Villa for
their exceptional care and love. They became a second family to mom.
Donations in memory of Grace can be made to the Loch Lomond Villa
Foundation, The First Wesleyan Church, Boars Head Rd., or a charity of
the donor’s choice. www.BrenansFH.com
