George (Ted) Tutt, passed away on January 21, 2019 at the age of 93. He lived his life with love of family, love of life, optimism, a good sense of humor and strong faith. Ted grew up in Swalwell, AB, then enjoyed a 37 year career with Canadian Utilities, Alberta Power, and ATCO Electric and an equal number of years as an ATCO pensioner. His career moved him to Three Hills, Castor, Hanna, Lloydminster, Drumheller, Vegreville and Edmonton.
Ted is lovingly remembered and missed by his children: Tom, David, Larry (Linda), Ken (Celeste Williams) and Marie (Eric Chan) and grandchildren: Jesse Tutt (Micaela Wasylik), James Evans, Kelsey Tutt, Angela Spooner (Dave), Janine Schroeder (Jerrad), Aaron Tutt (Lana), Darcy Chan (Leandra Jack) and Erica Tutt, his great-grandchildren, Kael, Wyatt & Violet Schroeder; Claire, Jane & Owen Spooner; and Everly Tutt, as well as many friends and the extended Tutt and Lavoie family.
Ted was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Viola (2001); infant son, Anthony (1958); and parents, Olga Tutt (1989) and George Tutt Sr (1936).
A Funeral Service will take place at the Resurrection Catholic Parish, 10555 – 50a Street, Edmonton on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.
Ted’s family would like to thank the caregivers from We Care and the General Hospital Palliative Care for their loving care of their father.
