Ernest Chevarie
1929-2019
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Ernest Chevarie 89, of
St. Louis, NB passed away peacefully at the Foyer Bois Joli in St.
Louis on Friday, January 25, 2019. Born in St. Ignace, NB,
he was the son of the late Nazare Chevarie and late Suzanne (Gallant)
Chevarie. Before retiring, Ernest was employed as a
woodsman.
Ernest will be sadly missed by his four sisters, Laureanne
Duguay (late Emile) of Waltham, MASS, Laura Thebeau (Gerald) of St.
Ignace, Emilenne Vautour (Louis) of St. Ignace, Marie Richard (late
Fidele) of Leominster, MASS; two brothers, Alyre Chevarie (Cecile) of
St. Charles, Emile Chevarie (Emerise) of St. Ignace; two
sisters-in-law, Claira Chevarie of St. Louis,
Thérèse Theriault of Montreal and many nieces
and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Irma
and two brothers, Armand and Camille.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home,
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday from 7-9 pm, Tuesday at 9:00 am until
time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 am, St. Ignace de Loyola Roman
Catholic Church, St. Ignace. Donations in Ernest’s
memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
