It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Otis Frederick Carney of Daytona Beach FL and formerly of Chatham, announces his sudden passing on Thursday January 24th, 2019 at the age of 53 years. Cherished son of Ed and Sheyla Carney of Chatham. Beloved husband of Christine (DeBaets) Carney. Loving father of Drew and Brock. Dear brother of Wendie Blasy and Debra (Frank) Brecevic, and dear brother-in-law of Murray DeBaets, Marcia (Roger) Caron, and Karen (Jeffrey) Babb. He will lovingly be remembered by his several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation and can be made at the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St, West, Chatham, 519-352-2710.
