Colleen Sylvia George (Townley)
Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Arthur Lewis; parents Sydney & Flora Townley. Leaving to mourn her children Geraldine Hewlett (Bruce), Arthur, & Anne; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Helen Siler (Robert); nieces and nephews. Funeral service to be held from Mary Queen of Peace Parish, 135 Torbay Road on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9:30am. Inurnment at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Andrews, NL at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Colleen’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

I never knew Colleen but visited,with my mother , Uncle Syd and Aunt Florence. I have a Facebook page MacRae family, descendants of Neil John MacRae. If your interested please join. Neil John MacRae was married to Sydney Townley sister, Zynie Florence Townley.
    We share pictures and documents about the Townley family.who were home children sent to Canada from England.
