Obituary for Bill Core
Died peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. BILL CORE, 96 years, of Petrolia. Bill was a loving husband of the late Phyllis (nee Kelly)(2005) and a father to Peter (Eileen) Core, Linda (Wayne) Brown, and the late Colleen (2010)(Jim) Melton. He will lovingly be missed by his grandchildren Matthew (Cheryl) Core, Rebecca (Joel) Devereaux, Rachel (Grant) Purdy, Tawnya Brown, Tamara (Jim) McCabe, Jayne Brown, Janice (Len) Annett, Jacqueline (Steve) Jackson, and Sarah Shean and great grandchildren Blake, Shane, Eric and Autumn Core, Samantha and the late Kyle Devereaux (2002), Haylee and Owen Purdy, Madeline, Core, and Jalyn Jackson, Brett and Hanna Shean, and Karlie Annett. Bill was predeceased by his parents Bill (1973) and Alma (1985) Core and his brothers Dean (2009) (the late Lorna(2010)) Core and Paul (2004)(the late Lecetta(2014)) Core. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Norma (the late Ken) Tait. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. from the Peoples Church, 3888 London Line, Wyoming. Visitors will be received prior to the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.needhamjay.com.
