Wyatt, Barbara Ann (Smiley) – 81, Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born in Port Dufferin, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Moser) Smiley. Barbara began her career with Balcom Chittick Drug Stores. She later worked in the pharmacy of the Old Halifax Infirmary, where she retired. Barbara played the organ in various Anglican churches in her communities. She enjoyed picking blueberries, baking and knitting. She loved her cat, Minnie. She is survived by her sisters, Betty Sweet and Phyllis (Wendell) Newcombe, both of Dartmouth; brother, Murray (Carolyn), Centreville; nephews and grandniece; daughters of her late husbands. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jim Lee; second husband, Paul Wyatt; brother-in-law, Val Sweet. Special thanks to friends and family, staff at The Berkeley Dartmouth and Parkstone Enhanced Care in Halifax. Arrangements are entrusted to MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Oxford (902-447-2930). No visitation by Barb’s request.
