Allan Arthur Archibald
January 14, 1928 – January 15, 2019
ARCHIBALD, Allan Arthur – (January 14, 1928 – January 15, 2019) – Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 91.
Beloved husband of the late Audrey (nee Daynard) for 66 years, now reunited forever. Much loved father of Linda Lapish (late Royce) and Debbie Archibald. Loving and proud Papa of the late Cindy Melissa Lapish-Kenney (Rob), Erik Lapish (Melanie) and special Papa to his furry and feathered grandchildren Dixie, Ella, Tweetie and Rocky. Son of the late Lynn and late Winifred Archibald. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Hayden Archibald, Jean Gilroy (late Don), Bob Archibald (late Vi), Bill Archibald (Doreen), Lynn Archibald (Lois) and Kay Lautenslager (late Nial). Son-in-law of the late Cecil and late Rachel Daynard. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in-law Francis Roberts (late Ed), Murray Daynard, Bruce Daynard, Jack Daynard, Laura King (late Lorne), Betty Moore (late Lloyd), Doug Daynard (late Rose) and Kay Zettler (Cracker). Allan will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by the “Mall coffee gang”. He will be returning to St. Joseph Island where he was born. Spring internment will take place at Mountain Maple Grove Cemetery. A Rememberance of Life will be held on Saturday January 19, 2019 from 2-4pm at Campbell Apartments 275 Albert St. E. Recreation Room. Memorial contributions “payable by cheque” to St. Vincent Food Bank or charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
