Lively, (Short), Winnifred Edna “Winnie”
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her daughters Edna (Jim) Pomeroy, Cindy (Chris) Henderson, and foster daughter Claire Smith; granddaughters, Shauna, Krista, Amanda, and Cara; five great-grandchildren; siblings Fred and Ed Short, Pearl Kaulbach and many nieces and nephews.
Winnie was president of Atlantic Provinces and past noble grand and a member of Garnet Rebekah Lodge #30 for over 40 years. Winnie enjoyed bowling, card games, music and dancing. She was passionate about her family and friends and loved spending time with them. She was also a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Dartmouth.
Winnie was predeceased by her parents, Garland and Edith (Leitch) Short, loving husband William “Bill” and special friend Don Kane.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday July 3rd in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 9 Veterans Ave, Dartmouth. No visitation as per Mom’s request. Family flowers only.
