At Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday, December 27, 2018, Bill Kieffer of R.R.# 1, Bluevale, at the age of 72.
Loving husband of Linda (Schurter) Kieffer. Cherished father of Sean & Tabatha Kieffer of Plattsville, Tammy & Gerry Beard of Elmira and Jason & Erin Kieffer of Modesto, California. Dear grandpa of Brady, Bryce, and Keagan Kieffer, and Kieffer and Logan Beard. Brother of Marjorie Shupe, Georgina & Reinhart Schreiter, Ron Kieffer, Karen Weishar and Elaine & Peter Groot. Brother-in-law of Michael Black. Bill will be lovingly remembered by Linda’s brothers and sisters Jim & Linda Schurter, Michael & Joan Schurter, Lorraine & Jim Hallahan and Marian & David Kuntz as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Oscar & Anna Marie (Corrigan) Kieffer, brother Roger Kieffer and his wife Joan, sister Corrine Black and brothers-in-law Lorne Shupe, and Ralph Weishar.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, December 30th from 1:00-5:00 pm with Parish Vigil Service at 12:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Wingham on Monday, December 31st at 11:00 am. Father K.P. Morrison officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Wingham Cemetery.
Memorial donations to W.O.A.A, Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or Sacred Heart Church, Wingham would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
