William Frederick “Bill” McKee
McKee, William F. “Bill”, age 98, of Dartmouth
It is with deep sadness but also with sincere gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the peaceful passing of our father William McKee on July 16, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, he was the youngest son of the late Margaret and George McKee.
He is survived by his daughter Patricia (Lou) Kent, Dartmouth; son Bill (Jean), Seattle, Washington; granddaughters, Kari (Arron) Wight, Krista Taylor, Jenna (Nic) Wolfe and Kathleen (Chris Vail). Dear to his heart were his great-grandchildren Jack, Katie, Grace, Abby, Tess and Henry; and several nieces.
He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Ruth (Smith); and all of his siblings.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.
Donations in Dad’s memory may be made to Woodlawn United Church or a charity of your choice.
Special thanks to Dartmouth General Hospital, the staff of Parkland at the Lakes, and his special friends Loyce, Edgil, Ron and Carmel.
