Moore, Wilfred Sylvester, 78, of
Salmon River, passed away peacefully
Saturday, September 15, 2018, at the Colchester East Hants Health
Centre Truro. Born in Harmony Road, he was a son of the late Edward
and Hazel (Maynard) Moore. Wilfred was a farmer and woodsman most of
his life and he very much enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived
by sisters, Shirley, Diane, Gloria, Lillian, Shelley, Valerie, Wanda;
brothers, Clarence, Bill, Leon, Gary, Eric; life-long girlfriend,
Eileen; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters,
Rose, Ruth; brother, Wayne. A graveside service and interment will be
held 1 pm Monday, September17, 2018, in the Harmony Cemetery, Jeremy
Kauffman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society or to the Turning Point UPC. Arrangements have
been entrusted to the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street
