Wendy Lorraine (Logan) Hatfield – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wendy Lorraine (Logan) Hatfield announce her passing, which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, after a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, NB on April 1, 1957, daughter of Jack Logan (Nancy) and the Late Mildred Logan. Wendy is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Wilfred Hatfield.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her step-son Joseph Hatfield, son Kenneth (Diane), and daughter Victoria (Adam). She was a very special and loving “Nini” to her grandchildren Liam, Rory, Helena and Jack. Wendy is also survived by her sisters Susan (James) Smallman and Cathy Francis (George) and sister-in-law Gwen Logan (Robert) as well as several nieces and nephews and close family friend, Michele Smith. She was predeceased by her mother Mildred Logan and her brother Jack Logan as well as a brother and sister who passed away in infancy.
Wendy was a stay at home mom for many years before working at Sears, and most recently at Kent prior to her illness.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of 4CN at the SJRH for their special care and attention. The family wishes to thank Dr. Andreani and Dr. Tutschka for going above and beyond in their care for Wendy.
