of New Glasgow ,Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on Friday ,October
12th ,2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,
surrounded by his loving family.
Born in
New Glasgow , Nova Scotia on April 30 ,1944 he was a son of the late
John and Irene (Tanner) Callahan and the husband of 50 years to his
loving wife Ella (MacNeil) Callahan (deceased March
27th ,2018).
Wayne was
a welder at the former Hawker Siddeley later known
as Trenton Works. He enjoyed hunting , fishing ,camping and
spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving
are his brother Roger Callahan of New Glasgow and sister Sharon
(George Gunton) of Dunnville ,Ont

and brother-in-laws , Linda Callahan of New
Glasgow, Fayne MacNeil ,Hamilton , Ont ,Norma

his parents and the love of his life his wife Ella he was predeceased
by his father and mother -in-law Bernie and Bertha (Betts )MacNeil

,sisters- in-law Kay Hill ,Bernice Duff , brothers-in-law Bernie
MacNeil and Frank and his wife Nilda

Cremation has taken place .
there will be no visitation or service by request. Arrangements have
