Peacefully, at Maple View Terrace, on Thursday, December 27, 2018, Mr. Donald Watkin, of London, in his 92nd year. The husband of his dearly loved wife, the late Marie (Vigar) (1994), for 44 years. Loving father of Diane Crow (late Dave) (2005) and Tim (Sherry) Watkin. Proud grandfather of Laura (Dave Nolan) and Jenna (Jay Loos), and great-grandfather of Case Lyle Nolan, Lyla Marie Nolan and Hunter John Loos. Predeceased by his brother, Ronald in Australia (1971). Don retired in 1987 after a 37-year career in the mortgages division of the London Life Insurance Company. The family would like to extend a ‘thank you’ to the staff at Maple View Terrace for their compassionate care of Dad. A funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation one-half hour prior. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Donald are asked to consider London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Program.
