November 16, 1961 ~ September 18, 2018
On September 18, Wally passed away at the University of Alberta Hospital at the age of 56.
He will be remembered by his loving wife Donna and their daughter Shelbey; siblings Roman (Cherie), Patricia (Ifroz), Diane (Greg), John (Shaunna), Steve, and Irene; nephews Bret, Austin, Dalton, Rylie; nieces Nicole, Kiarra.
He will also be missed by many extended family, and friends.
Wally worked for the city, until purchased by EPCOR, for 35 years. He had many interests, from riding with his Harley with friends, jiu-jitsu to pottery, and model building. He was an avid animal lover, being known as the #1 dog walker.
A funeral service will be at 2:00PM on September 28, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 16204 Fort Road, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter’s name may be made to The Stollery Children’s Hospital for his passion in the wellbeing of children.
The family would like to thank the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital and the Cross Cancer Institute for the care and compassion shown to Wally.
