1951-2018
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Walter Lewis Graves
announce his passing on May 7th 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital in Fredericton N.B.
Walter was born at his homestead on Church Street in Port Williams
Nova Scotia April 11th 1951. Walter had a great love for the outdoors.
You could always find him fishing, hunting, raising chickens,
gardening or building beautiful bird houses. Although Walter was
retired, he was a hardworking man giving his gardening hands to others
in need. Walter dearly loved his family and friends as they did
him.
Walter will be greatly missed by his children Rita Graves-Morehouse
(Jerrett Morehouse) of Zealand N.B Allan Graves (Betty Starr) of
Fredericton N.B Jason [Jase] McCarthy (Patrick McCarthy) of Durham N.B
Deanna Graves (Ryan Miller) of Kingsley Rd N.B Seven Grandchildren,
Katherine, Mackenzie, Hailey, Alexis, Willow, Eleanor and Mulisha;
One sister Donna Graves, Five Brothers, Ronnie Graves, Michael Graves,
John Graves, Robert Graves and Steven Graves all of Nova Scotia.
Three nieces, Rachel Graves, Amy Graves, Shawna Graves, two nephews,
Albert Graves and Ronald Graves all of Nova Scotia.
Special friends, Mike Archer (Viola), Kailee Archer, Leonard Aubie
(Margaret) and Kathy Surette
In addition to his parents, John and Reta Graves he was predeceased by
a sister Barbra Graves and five brothers, Eugene Graves, Richard
Graves, Harry Graves, Edgar Graves and Gary Graves
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Walter, the family
has suggested The Heart & Stroke Foundation 580 Main Street, Suite
B210, Saint John, NB E2K 1J5 or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
