The family announces with sorrow her death at Extendicare Timmins on Monday, September 3, 2018 at age 81 years. Pre-deceased by her husband Leonard Ellery (2012). Dear mother of Justin Ellery (Dominika) and Len Ellery (Julie) both of Timmins. Loving grandmother of Caitlin Minard (Jon), Justina Westerink (Matt), Vivian Clemence (Curtis), Elizabeth Ellery, Anna and Justin Ellery and great-grandmother of Charlie Westerink and Aubrey Minard. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Sue Ellery of North Bay. Pre-deceased by her parents Justin and Loretta Tallon and her sister Willietta Prescott. The family also wish to express their gratitude to the staff at Extendicare for their love and dedication to Vivian’s care.
Vivian was loved by everyone who knew her. Her spirit of generosity and kindness was truly amazing. She devoted her life to her family and sacrificed so much for her children and grandchildren. Even in times of poor health, she was always prepared, at a moment’s notice, to lend a helping hand. It is comforting to know that she will be rejoicing in the arms of her beloved husband and family in Heaven. Vivian was a woman of strong faith and love for God – an Angel now assigned to guide and protect us. “God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away” (Revelation 21:4).
As per the family’s request, cremation has taken place and a private Christian memorial will be held. Remembrance donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Timmins-Porcupine District would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with
