OBITUARY
Virginia Adeline Currie
19 March , 1943 – 10 March , 2018
On March 10, 2018, Virginia Currie (Chickloski) passed away with her daughters at her side in Kamloops BC after a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Helgesen, husband Larry, granddaughters Meghan and Stefanie; daughter Andrea Currie, granddaughter Alicia, and two great granddaughters Serenity and Patience, predeceased by husband Fred Currie just 11 months ago. Virginia had a successful career in the Ministry of Highways and paved the way for women to move up the ladder in government positions. She loved her fur babies, grand babies and her gardens with winning roses. In lieu of flowers please donate to the hearth and Stroke or Lung Associations. Family memorial to take place during the summer.
