Obituary of Victoria Goebel
Victoria Goebel (nee: Mikulinski)
June 24, 1939 – February 18, 2018
It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Vicky Goebel in the early hours of Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 78. Vicky is survived by her daughters, Betty-Anne (Bob) Maschek of Swift Current, SK; Sharon (Doug) Lepine and their children Bradley and Jacob of Winnipeg, MB; and Lorraine (Steve) Maschek and their children Kristin and Shelby of Dalmeny, SK; brother Sandy (Tina) Mikulinski of Brandon, MB and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Vicky was predeceased by her parents Alec and Annie Mikulinski; her loving husband Alfred Goebel (1997); son Richard (1964); and brother Steve Mikulinski (2016). Mom lived a full life. Her many interests were playing cards, especially Crib and Canasta with family and friends. Mom was a fantastic cook and baker and was glad to cook for a huge crowd whenever needed. She loved her husband and family and took excellent care of us over years. Mom moved from Regina to Swift Current after dad’s passing. She made many friends there until her passing. Mom will live on in our hearts forever. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Swift Current Hospital. Also special thanks to Betty-Anne and Bob for the excellent Care. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4th Ave. N., Regina, SK with Pastor Ted Giese officiating. Interment will take place following the service at Regina Memorial Gardens, Regina, SK.
