Obituary for Verner Magnus
Verner Siegfried Magnus was born July 7, 1928 on a farm near Poznan (formerly part of Germany) to parents Ernest and Marie Magnus. Vern passed away at home in Caleb Village, in Tisdale, Saskatchewan on December 7, 2018 at the age of 90.
Verner immigrated to Canada with his family in July of 1929. He grew up on a farm northeast of Tisdale. He attended Evington School through to Grade 8. He took two years of correspondence and went to Three Hills, Alberta for his Grade 11.
