Timothy James Quirt July 14 1961 March 8 2018 (age 56)

Quirt, Timothy
Peacefully surrounded by his wife and daughter, and after a short and courageous battle with cancer, Tim passed to his eternal Home at 56 years. He is sadly missed by his wife, Lise (Desormeau), daughter, Lindsey, canine companion Ollie and furry feline companion Sam. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Marion Quirt and father-in-law, Art Desormeau. He is also survived by his brothers Michael (Doreen) and Garry (Murielle), sister Bev Roy (Roger), mother-in-law Lucille Desormeau, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nicole and Gord McWilliams and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tim was a fiercely protective family man and was always our rock. He worked at Union Gas where he always enjoyed his work family and committed to his job with integrity, Tim had a wonderful sense of humour and a smile for everyone. His life was about kindness, helping others and paying it forward. Tim loved the outdoors, whether it be hunting or four-wheeling, tinkering in his garage and watching beautiful sunsets over Lake Nipissing. Family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday March 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Tuesday March 13, 2018 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully appreciated by his family. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com
