Thomas William McGill
Thomas William McGill died peacefully at home lovingly surrounded by his family on Thursday, November 22nd, 2018 in his 85th year. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Shirley (Waldron) of 64 years. Dearly loved father of Deb and Peter Parkinson (Woodstock), Judith McGill (Toronto), and Brian and Kim (London). Tom as predeceased by his son David in 2005. Cherished grandfather of Ashlee and Brian Fuhr, Josh and Carli Parkinson, Cody, Stephanie, Rebecca Wylie, Meredith Wylie, Chris Kenney-Willder, Kinsley Kimball and Anik McGill. Also greatly missed by his brother Bill McGill and Louie Carlos Contreras (California). Predeceased by brother Jim.
Tom was known for his love of fishing, gardening, painting and his quick wit.
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road South, London on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Stevenson-McWade Chapel on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation with interment at a later date.
