Obituary for Thomas James Biddeson “Tom”
Thomas James Biddeson
“Tom”
June 11, 1948 – November 19, 2018
Tom was a loving husband and father. He spent 35 years working at BC Tel/Telus until his retirement in 2003. In his spare time you could find him fly fishing with his dog Riley at Whitetail Lake where he formed a great community of friends. Tom was a true warrior, fighting prostate cancer for 15 years and was passionate about men screening for early detection. Tom passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 in Cranbrook.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Elva, daughters Krista Hildebrand (Scott) and Amy Biddeson, his sister Diane McDannold, his brother Dale Biddeson and his aunty Anne Sparling.
Tom’s family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to Dr. Dave Lenz, Dr. Andi Scheibenstock and all the nurses who cared for him at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held in the spring of 2019. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the: Prostate Cancer Foundation BC, #4 – 17918 55th Avenue, Surrey, BC, Canada V3S 6C8 (proceeds to be forwarded to the Cranbrook Chapter) or to the: East Kootenay S.P.C.A., PO Box 2, Cranbrook, British Columbia, V1C 4H6.
