It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Thérèse (Filomena Teresa) Varanesi Milo, at the age of 98 years, beloved wife of the late Leopoldo Milo. She was predeceased by her brothers Antoine, Raphael, Albert, and most recently her sister Madeleine.
Thérèse was a woman with tremendous strength and resilience, her life was one of generosity, hospitality and true friendship.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Stella (John Gradek) and Antoinette (John Lukca), her loving grandchildren Jonathan (Dominique Riverin) and Anthony (Elisabeth Jean) and her adoring great-grandchildren Eva, Laurie-Rose, and Francis, as well as her sister Marie-Rose Varanesi Milo, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

on Thursday, May 24th, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, May 25th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 12 p.m. at the Notre Dame-des-Neiges Church, 5366 Côte-des-Neiges Road, Montreal, thence to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to: Pedal for Kids Montreal Children’s Hospital – Thérèse Milo.
Her memory will live on in the lives of everyone she touched and inspired.
