It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of our angel, Theresa Wadden on Tuesday, September 25,
2018.
Born August 31, 1930, on Scatarie Island, she was the
daughter of the late William and Mary (Kennedy) Wadden.
Theresa is survived by her sisters, Joan MacKay (John Allan)
and Hazel Williams (Ernie); brothers, Michael (Margie) and Aubrey
(Jeanette); many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews who all
loved her very much.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Carm
(Gordon), who cared for her for many years, Florence, Doreen, Violet,
Marguerite and Sally (in infancy) and brothers, Stanley (in infancy),
Tony, Stanley, Reg, Dave, Howard and Roddie.
A special thank you to Philip Woodell, Susie and staff of the
Dutch Brook Home for their great care over the past 15 years. Special
thanks to the Palliative Care Team at the Cape Breton
Regional Hospital, as well as Dr. Steven Hall and the staff of
4A.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sydney
Memorial Chapel. Visitation will take place at Immaculate Conception
Church, Main-a-Dieu on Thursday, September 27 from 2-4 & 7-9
p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on
Friday, Sept 28 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Evo DiPierro
officiating. Interment in Immaculate Conception
Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to palliative care or the Salvation
Army.
