REINHARDT, TCC, The Reverend Theodore Charles Cameron Reinhardt June 26, 1932 – December 2nd, 2018.
On December 2, 2018, The Rev. Theodore Charles Cameron Reinhardt passed away at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake at the age of 86. Born in Montreal, he is predeceased by his daughter, Susan. He is survived by his wife, Ida V, Reinhardt, his son, Ted (Jennifer), grandchildren Jason (Melissa), Stephanie (Forrest), Katy and Laura, and by great-grandchildren Liam, Mila and Owen.
He was a drummer with the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) of Canada at the age of 13 and continued teaching drumming well into his 80s. He was a member of the Elliot Lake Pipe Band. He was ordained in 1967 and served in the Anglican Dioceses of Montreal, Saskatchewan, Quebec, Ottawa, Fredericton and Algoma. He was recently named Honourary Emeritus at St. Saviour’s, Blind River. He was also a long-time member of the Masons.
The family would like to express their thanks for the excellent and compassionate care at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake and Health Sciences North 3rd Floor Centre Tower, ICU.
A visitation will be held on Friday afternoon from 2-4pm at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave).
The funeral will be held in at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church, Blind River, Saturday, December 8 at 11AM.
Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family
