Peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord, at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Saturday, December 30, 2017, of Feversham, formerly of Alliston. Loving mother of Liam McCarroll, whom she cherished very much. Beloved daughter of Judy Jackson and adoring sister of Kimberley Briggs. Special Niece to Dorothy Ottewell, Bob(Carol) Ottewell, Bonnie(Roy) Dawn, Barb(Paul) McMullen, Joan(Neil) McIntyre, Shirley Ottewell (Kevin Lougheed), Jackie(Dave) Brown, Ruthie Irwin(Ronnie Paron), and Bill Ottewell. Loved and remembered by many cousins, special friends and the Masters family. Predeceased by father Bob Jackson, uncle Doug Ottewell, and uncle Greg Irwin.
Tanya was a passionate young person, with a mind of her own, especially when it came to clothes, music and hair colour and most certainly had a heart of gold, often being found volunteering with the Alliston Community Christian School. Tanya loved her family abundantly and had a soft spot for kittens.
The family will receive friends at the Osprey Community Centre, on Wednesday, January 3 from noon until the time of service at 1pm. Reception to follow. Memorial donations to the Alliston Community Christian School or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
