Shirley Marina Feit
Shirley M.
Feit, 80, of Grand Bay-Westfield, passed away peacefully at
Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John, on Sunday, March 11,
2018.
Born in
Moncton, where she lived for most of her life, she was the daughter of
the late Chapin and Margaret (Payne)
Crockett.
Shirley
loved and enjoyed her time working at Eastern Bakeries for 34 years.
She attended the School for the Deaf in Halifax, NS for many years
where she met her husband. She had attended the Moncton
Wesleyan Church and was very involved with the Deaf Ministry led by
Jerry and Erma Gildart. Shirley loved being in the country
and had a hobby farm for most of her life. She had a great
sense of humor, loved to tease and loved to laugh. Her faith, family,
and pets were the most important things in her life. Shirley
had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She
took people in to her home who needed a place to stay and provided
meals for anyone who dropped
by.
Shirley is
survived by her husband, Frank Feit, to whom she would have been
married to for 58 years in July; her children, Denna Clark (David) and
Chapin; her grandchildren, Matthew Clark, Brendan Clark (Melanie
Grant), Dylan Feit; great grandson, Cameron Clark and best friend
Leona Richard.
The family
would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the
staff at Bobby’s Hospice and
Extra-Mural.
