CARPENTER: Shirley Mae nee: Bomberry
On November 20, 2018 Shirley Carpenter at the age of 82 years went home to walk on the streets of gold in her Heavenly home. Daughter of the late Walter & Rose Bomberry; sister of Ann & Ken General, Russell & Yvonne Bomberry, Sandra & the late Pete Powless, Marjorie & Bill Longboat, and John Doxtator. Loving wife of the late Larry George Carpenter. Dear mother of Sharon & Kelvin, Cindy & Rick, Suzanne, and the late Anthony Larry Carpenter, and Patricia Jenn Sagassigi. Survived by grandchildren, Willy & Erica, Missy, Jill & Troy, Rachel, Sarah & Chad, Sammy & Ken, Summer & Dex, Josh & Terri-Lynn, Kenny & Susan, Matt, and Norma-Jean & Jonathan, and numerous great grandchildren, and nieces, nephews and friends. Shirley was a dedicated member & people’s warden of Christ Anglican Church for many years, employed as a school bus driver for 40 years for Six Nations Students. Also worked as a cook for Erlind’s Restaurant for several years, and at Hamilton Golf & Country Club. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Anglican Church, 1098 Cayuga Rd., Six Nations on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. www.rhbanderson.com
