Dawson, Shelley Ann (nee Carefoote) 1951-2018
It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from complications of her liver transplant. She is now with her beloved husband Bill (2016). She will be profoundly missed by her three sons, Sean (Amparo), Brett (Heather) and Kyle. Cherished grandmother of Matisse, Ella and Raeanna. Loving sister of Lynda McAdam (George) and their children Jeff (Vickie), Ryan (Michelle) and Scotty. Predeceased by her parents Talmadge (Tom) & Orma Carefoote, sister Carol and brother Tommy. Remembered by her brother-in-law Gary Dawson (Pam) and their family. Shelley will be greatly missed by her friends at Carson’s Camp, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 2:30 p,m, with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to Toronto General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Shelley in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.dodsandmcnair.com
