Life Legacy
BENEDETTI, Sergio Peacefully in his sleep, on December 31, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Anne for 63 years. Devoted and loving father to Christine (Gino Tittarelli) and John (Vicki). Cherished Nonno to Morgan (Eric Modny), Brandon Tittarelli, John, Emma and David. Predeceased by his parents Ramiro and Emma Benedetti, his in-laws John and Jenny Vizzini and by all his siblings. Survived by his sister-in-law Alice Benedetti and nieces Barbara and Tiziana and their families in Italy and by extended family and many friends both in Canada and Italy. Sergio retired in 1986 from the Ford Motor Company after 36 years of employment. The family wish to express their gratitude to all the ICU doctors, nurses and staff for their compassion and wonderful care, and to his PSW caregivers this past year. Visitation will take place at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street E. on Wednesday from 2 – 5 p.m. and 6 – 9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered at All Souls Church on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
