Rudy had a zest for life and loved spending time outdoors. His keen sense of adventure took him around the world and allowed him to experience all that it had to offer. Rudy passed away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in his 86th year. Predeceased by his wife of 62 years Margaretha Moser-Haueter Loved father of Verena Reichen and Chuck Haueter (Donna). Loving Grandpa of Melanie, Amanda (Raphael Wolf), Dustin (Andrea & daughter Regan), Thomas ( Samantha), and great grandson Shane Wolf. Brother-in-law of Trudi Haueter and predeceased by brothers Fritz and Heinz.
A celebration of Rudy’s life will be held at DRURY FUNERAL CENTRE, 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 1 – 4 p.m. with reflections to be shared at 2:00 p.m. If so desired memorial donations to Matthews House Hospice or Stevenson Memorial Hospital Fdn. would be appreciated.
