Obituary of Ruby Amies
It is with heavy hearts, the family of Ruby Amies announce her passing on November 8th, 2018 at the age of 88 at Strathroy Middle General Hospital. Beloved wife of Neil Amies of 68 cherished years. Loving mother of Marie Rowswell (Leroy Ford) and Tom (Barb) Amies. Ruby will be sadly missed by Jason (Amy) Rowswell, Rhonda (Rod) Booth, Michael (Shawna) Amies. Proud great-grandmother of Ethan, Nolan, Houston, Kyla, and Keegan. Predeceased by her sisters Helen (Bill) Miller and Ruth (Les) Purssglove and her niece Dianne. Ruby will be remembered by nieces and nephews, Sue (Keith), Doug (Yvonne), Bob (Ana), Cheri (Allen), Wayne (Janice) and many extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Strathroy Middle General Hospital for all their loving care and kindness.
