Rose was an Oma to everyone and her passion was her family. She could make a friend out of everyone she met. Rose passed away in Toronto on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Dearly beloved wife for 54 years to the late Theodore. Beloved mother of Peter and his wife Kim, Michael, Mary and her husband Henry Podlacha and the late John Monastyrskyj. Loving Oma of Kristian, Ujenna, Nik, Elizabeth and Cameron. Dear Aunt of Kati, Annie, Peter, Joan and Theresa. Dear sister of Erna, Hans, Anni, Traudi, Maria and the late Kathi. She will be missed by many relatives in Austria, Alberta and Ontario. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (north of Rexdale Boulevard), on Friday from 6-9 p.m. Panakhyda Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12 p.m. Interment St. Volodymyr Cemetery.
